The
company is determined to further enhance the Thai
peoples quality of life and to help Thai society in
various ways through a range of activities and
contributions to projects deemed to be of
significant value and that are likely help achieve
these objectives.
Stationary and Books for Children Project.
The
aim of this project is to offer educational
opportunities for need in the rural areas. The does
this by providing educational grants, books,
furniture, teaching tools, sporting equipment plus
toys and clothing.
The
company also sponsors the royally initiated “Muang
Thai Sai Sa Ard Project” administered by the
‘Foundation for a Clean and Transparent’ Thailand
(FaCT).
Compulsory Insurance Heart Valve Fund Project.
This
project was initially established by the company and
the Pacific Corporation the producer of the infamous
‘Traffic Radio Report’ on FM 100Mhz. The aim of this
project is to assist people suffering from heart
disease caused specifically by heart valve problems.
This is achieved through commercial donations and
any Company customers who make a request can have
Baht 100 from their Compulsory Insurance premium
donated to this worth-while cause and the company
matches all such donations with an additional Baht
100 into the fund.
Vehicle Roadside Assistance Project 1137
In
cooperation with the Metropolitan Police Bureau and
Pacific Corporation, the company provides
twenty-four (24) hours roadside assistance to any
insured vehicle broken down in the Bangkok and
Metropolitan areas.
Don’t Drink and Drive Project
The
company in cooperation with the traffic police
division encourages people not to drive their
vehicles whilst under the influence of alcohol. They
assist with funding for alcohol check-points under
the campaign called “Don’t Drink Drive”. This is an
ongoing project.
The
company continually sponsors many social activities
of non-profit organizations which are designed to
increase the standards of living for Thai people. |
